As a kid, I didn’t believe I had many limitations. Adolescence is rarely an easy period; however, I was able to find pride in my physical capabilities. This all came to a head when I was introduced to weight training at school - I still remember the humiliation I felt when I couldn’t bench 65 lbs, a weight my peers could lift without a struggle. It was deeply humbling, and I resolved to never feel so weak and out of place.
To this day, I reflect back on that moment. That moment serves as a reminder that there was an inner warrior waiting to be unleashed. More so than my physical strength, the discipline and commitment instilled through training changed my life forever, and I want to share that with everyone that is ready to grow in their life. Everyone has an inner athlete waiting to come out. I’m here to make anyone realize that.
